sportsmanship, fair and equal treatment of all competitors regardless of
system or style, and a point system that not only rewards competitors for
placing, but rewards competitors for supporting the organization and working
hard to better themselves.

executive offices. Application does not necessarily imply a sanction will be
awarded. In the event a sanction is denied, the applicant will receive any
fees paid to the MMAL back. Sanctioned promoters who deliberately or
negligently fail to comply with the terms of this agreement will be barred
from seeking a sanction for a period of not less than three years. Any
sanctioned promoter who is found to be utilizing illegal or unethical
practices in connection with his or her event shall have their MMAL Sanction
withdrawn and shall be barred from seeking a sanction for life.

Tournaments that do not follow general MMAL
rules or Division Formats must provide a copy of their rules and division
breakouts forms. This is to insure that the safety of the competitor is
being considered and to allow for adjustments in the point ranking scales.
